As Special Counsel, Jason embeds himself within a client’s legal team, leveraging his experience handling sensitive internal investigations, wage and compensation disputes, leave and accommodation inquiries, performance management concerns, hiring and termination practices, discrimination and harassment claims, compliance matters, and discrete projects to deliver excellent client service for legal teams of all sizes and industries. Jason’s approach to legal services involves combining deep legal knowledge with a practical understanding of workplace dynamics, ensuring clients receive actionable advice tailored to their needs. Prior to joining Littler, Jason served as a Commercial Litigation Associate. In that role, he handled various employment matters, business disputes, loan/foreclosure cases, and bankruptcy disputes/trials. Jason has also worked as an Insurance Defense Associate, where he developed key trial skills (written and oral advocacy, depositions, negotiations, etc.) early in his career. While attending law school, Jason served as a Research Assistant for a highly regarded constitutional law scholar, was a Moot Court team member, a Moot Court Specialist for the National Black Law Student Association, legislative intern, and mentor to incoming law students. He also clerked for one of Florida’s largest insurance defense firms, and won the Regional and National Frederick Douglass Moot Court Competitions.
