Littler Welcomes New Talent to Honolulu with the Addition of Shareholder Christine Belcaid
HONOLULU (September 3, 2025) – Littler, the world’s largest employment and labor law practice representing management, announced the addition of Christine (Kiki) Belcaid as a shareholder in its Honolulu office. Joining from Dentons, where she was a partner in the firm, Belcaid guides employers through the full lifecycle of employment litigation, from investigations and discovery to motion strategy, trial preparation, and appeals.
“As workplace regulations and compliance expectations continue to evolve amid rapid policy shifts, employers need sophisticated attorneys like Kiki to stay ahead of the curve,” said Erin Webber, Littler’s managing director and president. “Kiki’s impressive track record advising employers on a broad spectrum of litigation, investigations and labor relations matters adds tremendous value to the firm as we help clients navigate today’s complex employment and labor law environment.”
In addition to her litigation work, Belcaid strategically counsels employers on compliance with federal, state and local employment laws, advising on workplace policies and employment-related agreements. Her practice also encompasses labor management relations – defending employers against unfair labor practice charges before the National Labor Relations Board, responding to union organizing campaigns, arbitrating disputes, and serving as lead employer-side negotiator during collective bargaining agreement negotiations.
“Kiki’s arrival significantly strengthens our capabilities in the region – and beyond,” said Shannon Boyce, Littler’s regional office managing shareholder for the Honolulu office. “Her experience with both litigation and labor relations, coupled with her in-depth understanding of Hawaii’s legal and cultural landscape, makes her an invaluable asset to our growing team.”
Belcaid regularly manages administrative proceedings before the Hawaii Civil Rights Commission and U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. She has extensive experience advising clients in numerous industries, including retail, property management, healthcare, hospitality, food production, and education.
“I’m thrilled to join Littler’s powerhouse team of labor and employment lawyers – and to contribute to the firm’s continued growth in Hawaii,” said Belcaid. “Drawing on the firm’s unparalleled global platform and deep bench of legal talent, I look forward to helping clients address today’s most urgent workplace challenges head-on.”
Outside of her legal practice, Belcaid is an active member in her local community. She serves on the Board of the Friends of Lyon Arboretum, volunteers at Therapeutic Horsemanship of Hawaii in Waimanalo, and is a member of Hawaii Women Lawyers. In 2025, she was featured in Honolulu Magazine’s “Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch” section.
Belcaid earned her J.D. from the Boston University School of Law and her B.S. from Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations.
